Choose how stamps and signatures are flagged

In an official translation, non-text elements — a stamp, a signature, a seal, a letterhead — get flagged with a marker. Every office has its own convention.

Settings · notation for visual elements

How to configure it

Go to Settings and choose your account's notation:

  • Brackets: [Signature], [Stamp]
  • Braces: {Signature}, {Stamp}

Good to know

  • The translation sticks to your chosen notation from start to finish, without mixing the two.
  • More element types are now recognized than before: photo, seal, letterhead, revenue stamp, and QR code, among others.
  • The change applies to new orders; an order already reviewed keeps what it had.

FAQ

Does this affect orders already finished? No — it applies going forward.

Can I change the marker for a specific element? Yes, by editing it in Review just like any other text.

What elements get flagged? Logos, stamps, signatures, photos, seals, letterheads, revenue stamps, and QR codes, among others.
